Some Gala varieties, like Royal Gala, feature attractive red and yellow stripes, others, such as Buckeye Gala, boast an intensive red hue.
Harvesting and Storage: Gala apples are typically harvested from mid-August to the end of September in Türkiye, depending on the region and orchard altitude. We store our Gala apples in Controlled Atmosphere (CA) storage usually until the end of January or February, based on demand and market conditions. This process maintains their crispness, juiciness, and sweet flavor, allowing consumers to enjoy fresh Gala apples long after the harvest season.
